It’s that time of year, kids!! And what’s better other than some goatie kisses?? I’ll tell you, nothing!! Not even puppy kisses, because puppy kisses come with puppy breath, which I can’t stand! Love puppies, can't stand their breath!
Both does kidded with twin bucks! BobbieJo on the 27th of March and Alexandra on April 2nd. All 4 boys were/are happy and healthy little guys!
BobbieJo’s “Dominus” can be seen in Herdsires, he’ll be kept to be bred to some new additions to the herd!
This past Saturday Robin, Brad, Bella and I took the trip to Fel-In-Luv Farm and brought home 5 new herd members!! You can see them in Herdsires and Jr.
Does! Thank you again Alicia and Scott Chandler for some great girls and guy!
Alexandra’s “Dillion” found a good pet home on Saturday! I love it when my kids go to homes that there isn’t any thought about it that they’ll be taken care of!
My days consist of getting up, starting baby bottles warming, feeding and milking at the barn, take the 4 older girls to the pasture, coming in, feeding babies, filling baby bottles back up, and repeating the process in the evening! Everyone gets all off schedule if I have to go somewhere… But, I make up for it in the end!
Brad is so excited, the babies are in a dog kennel right outside the cabin during the day and he can easily get in and out of it and he will spend hours pon hours in there playing with them. He has been milking Alexandra a little bit as well in the morning!
Now, the work comes! Robin, Brad and I will be working with all 8 goats that are staying over the winter to be walked, and shown! Won’t make it to many
shows this year, but we will make it to a few!
I can’t wait!
Anyways, it’s off to get some food in me and start chores for the evening! It’s going to be a busy, busy week!!
